We finally heard from Kaiser this morning about the date for Reghan's MRI. It has taken three weeks to get a date from them. She has to be sedated so the first appointment was May 15th at 11:30am. We will have to be in San Franscisco by 10:00 that morning to get the IV in and all of that fun stuff. I am worried about how she is going to handle the IV. I am also looking forward to having the results and having an "offical" diagnosis. Until today she has only had two very short seizures. This afternoon after nap she had a very long (two hour) physcosis event. It is amazing how strong Reghan is when she is in that state. She was able to pull out large chunks of my hair and hit my head so hard with her head that my vision was blurry for about ten minutes. The scary thing is she has no cule what is going on. Now she is my normal, happy , busy child.
Okay, enough about the bad stuff. Reghan is turning 2 on Friday. I cannot believe we have made it through another year. She has changed and grown so much since her first birthday. Now she talks and moves non-stop. She is more fun than ever and boy does she love all of her animals (two dogs, hamster and a rabbit). You would think she was the zoo keeper. Now if we could only teach Reghan how to clean up after the animals.
