Vacation

We just returned from vacation last night and I am trying to catch up on everything. We had the best vacation. There was time to relax, play, eat, sleep and shop. Reghan did well on the cruise to Mexico and at Disneyland. Believe it or not she is actually tall enough to ride on the Matterhorn. She did not know what to think about it. At the end of each ride she would clap. I think she was clapping because it was over and she survived. I was really suprised that a kid under two years old could be tall enough to ride the Matterhorn.

While on the cruise Reghan made many of the wait staff and servers happy because many of them have children her age and they have not seen them for two to six months. The crew on the ship have contracts which means they are on the ship for six to eight months at a time with two to four months off. While on the ship the only contact they have with their families is by phone or email. I know I couldn't do it. Our dinner server each night would get a hug and kiss from Reghan. She would also tell him "nigh-night". He loved it.

Each night when we were finished with dinner we would go back to our stateroom to see what animal was waiting for Reghan. There was always a different towel animal waiting on our bed for her. She loved it. She really liked the bulldog one night and ran down the hall to tell the person thank you. She even hugged him too.

We also visited Calalina. It was fun for Robbie and I to go back there and see the stage where we performed two years on the island in high school. Robbie took a picture of Reghan and I there in front of the state. You will notice she is sound asleep. Soon after the picture was taken she woke up and Robbie got to rent a golf cart and drove us all around the island. It was a cold but fun day.

We had a wonderful time and I am glad to be home to laundry and getting ready for Reghan's birthday. Now it is time to start planning the next vacation.
